FILM INDEPENDENT’S mission is to champion creative independence in visual storytelling in all its forms, and to foster a culture of inclusion. We support a global community of artists and audiences who embody diversity, innovation, curiosity and uniqueness of vision. Through Film Independent's Fiscal Sponsorship program , we open the door to nonprofit funding for independent filmmakers and media artists. In this case, to champion creative independence in visual storytelling and support a community of artists who embody our goals. The clearest, though not the only, benefit to participating in fiscal sponsorship is that individuals are able to access charitable funding for their project

In an on-going game of “Dare,” when a group of rich, entitled Beverly Hills teens pull a practical joke on one of their own and it goes awry, the teen goes on a transitional journey of life and reality on the streets of L.A. “Dare” is a first love, coming of age story about accepting responsibility and the meaning of family, friendship, love and tolerance.
